In the spotlight at Guidatour Montréal

We offer you about 100 permit-holding, professional guides for the City of Montréal, all graduates of the l’Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec. Most of are also members of the Montreal chapter of the Montréal Professional Tourist Guides Association (APGT).

Our experienced guides are connoisseurs of Montreal’s yesterday, today and tomorrow. With them, you will learn about the history of the city, its development, its architecture and cultural life.

Behind the scenes at Guidatour

Angèle Vermette


Angèle has been an integral part of Guidatour for over ten years as an employee and now as its president, succeeding co-founder Louise Hébert in 2018. Holding a degree in Tourism Management from the Institut de Tourisme et d’Hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ), Angèle has held many key roles within the company, notably on an operational level, in accounting and as a manager. She is now responsible for the corporate planning and strategic development of Guidatour, and makes great use of her innovative insight and quiet assurance to ensure the growth of the company.



Zoé Drujon-Desrosiers

Operations Coordinator

Zoé coordinates scavenger hunts, educational visits and Montréal Ghosts‘ activities at Guidatour. She holds a French degree in Psychology and has over 10 years of experience in planning of projects and activities for students. Her dynamism and her professionalism are both valuable assets for our team.



Laurence Forget-Lamarre

Operations Coordinator

A graduate of the Tourism program from Collège Montmorency, Laurence performs different key tasks in both operations and customer service, like choosing the best guide for every tour. As a proud ambassador of Montréal, Laurence particularly enjoys answering questions from clients in order to help them better plan their trips to make the most of what the city has to offer.



Marianne SimoneauMarianne Simoneau Guidatour

Business Development Manager

Marianne‘s mission is to grow Guidatour by diversifying its markets.  Dynamic, persevering and multilingual, her sales and creative aptitudes are maximized as part of our team.  Graduate from Ryerson University in Toronto, Bachelor of Design – Minor in Marketing, Marianne has a solid background in business development with 15 years of experience in the fields of Hospitality & Tourism and consumer packaged goods.

Communications Advisor

Elizabeth is involved in various projects to promote Guidatour’s brand and activities. Her analytical mind and love of words serve the business in many ways. She holds a BA in Public Relations from UQAM and has over 15 years of experience in the field of communications.



Philippe Rochon Tremblay

Accounting Technician

A meticulous and well-organized person,  Philippe has worked in various fields before, including administration and finances for some years. His versatily and regard to details make him an essential team player within the company.
