Explor-Action Old Montréal

Exploraction-Vieux-Montreal-2We offer you Explor-Action, our walking tour of Old Montréal for school groups, to be done independently or combined with a visit to Pointe-à-Callière Museum if you opt for our dual program.

Old Montréal Explor-Action

Choose the most dynamic way to discover Old Montréal on foot, accompanied by a professional guide who is experienced with school groups.

Pictures and questions are all part of the tour. In addition, students will be asked to compare, identify and link the past with the present using surrounding buildings, the lifestyles of Montréalers and important events in the city’s history.

On the program: Place Royale, Place d’Armes, Cours le Royer, Place Jacques-Cartier, Old Port. If you wish, add the visit of Notre-Dame basilica.

Practical Information & Reservation

  • Musee-PAC-Programme-DoubleLength: 2 hours.
  • Minimum: 15 students.
  • Rate (including taxes): $11 / student – 1 complimentary adult ticket per 15 students.
  • Optional: visit of Notre-Dame Basilica (student: $5 / adult: $7.50)

Dual Program

Explore the best of Old Montréal in just one day!

In the morning, set off to learn all about the history, architecture and anecdotes of Old Montréal by exploring the area with the Explor-Action walking tour with a professional guide.

After lunch, the exhibition Building Montréal (formerly Where Montreal Was Born) at the Pointe-à-Callière Museum will encourage everyone’s participation. Multimedia installation, authentic archaeological remains, virtual characters, artifacts and interactive games are on the program!

Enjoy free time for lunch in a reserved area at the museum before the visit (upon availability).

  • Minimum: 15 students.
  • Rates (including taxes):  student 4 to 12 yrs old – $19,50 / student 13 to 17 yrs old – $20,50
